    19th Annual Day CelebrationThe 19th Annual Day Celebration of Army Goodwill School, Uri was a memorable event filled with enthusiasm, performances, and awards, marking nearly two decades of excellence and growth. Held on 29th June 2024 at Kalapahar Ground, the celebration brought together students, faculty, parents, and distinguished guests.

    Inauguration and Welcome Address

    The event commenced with a warm welcome by the Principal Mrs. Baljeet Kour who highlighted the achievements of the past year and shared the institution's vision for the future. The chief guest, Mrs Paramjit Sethi FWO was then invited to light the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom.

    Cultural Performances

    The highlight of the evening was a series of vibrant cultural performances. Students showcased their talents through a variety of acts, including:

    - Dance Performances: Traditional, contemporary, and fusion dances that captivated the audience with their grace and energy.

    Chandrayaan-3 taking 40 days to reach Moon.By India Today Science Desk: The Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro) launched Chandrayaan-3 to the Moon on July 14 on a mission to attempt a soft landing on the lunar surface.

    The spacecraft is currently cruising in space and is expected to reach lunar orbit by August 5 and the soft-landing attempt is likely to be on August 23. The spacecraft will cover the nearly 3,84,000 kilometers distance between the Earth and Moon in nearly 40 days, which is much longer than what the Apollo mission launched by Nasa would take....
